King was born in Taiwan, Republic of China.
She received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from National
Taiwan University in 1992, and the M.S. degree in electrical engineering from
University of California, Berkeley, in 1994.
She received her PhD degree in May 1999, at University of California, Berkeley, on thin oxide technology and
novel quasi-nonvolatile memory. She joined National
Tsing-Hua University at Hsinchu, Taiwan in August 1999. Her research topics include: thin gate dielectric, CMOS image sensor
and non-volatile memory design.
